Is marriage necessary?

Hi Friends,

As we grow up our parents come running after us to get married. Is it really necessary to get married? I cant understand why is it required that we should have a stamp in a relationship so that other can understand that me and my love are really in love.

I mean why cant let the relationship be as it is going : no bars, no holds, wish as you want.

Well according to me only insecure persons get married. I mean if you love a person and have in him/her then why is it necessary to have it been written on stamp paper ? People say Marriage is a holy relationship, it is about faith, it is about trust, it is about spending entire life with someone. So if we are having trust in someone then why is it necessary to get married and to make that person get bound to us.

So according to me bottom line is : Only 'INSECURE' persons get married. because they know that their relationships are not strong enough to keep their partners with them.

Marraige is totally a personal choice of an individual... No body can force an adult into an institution as strong as marraige... also, we live in a age where even live in relationships have been legalised, although it is still highly controversial.....Again the law legalising relationship with the same sex, is another point emphasizing the same thing, that marraige is not at all necessary... A large number of independent are single today, not because of any problem but by their own choice....
 
It depends up on people's choice!

Marriage is necessary or not is completely a personal choice. For most of tehpeopel it is necessarya nd for many it is just a formality and not necessary. There are certain issues that maried people gface after marriage and they think it is better they would have avoided the marrige. But many people need tehcompany till their death. So it depends up on people to people.
 
In my view marriage is a personal choice but usually parents pressurize a lot for marriage after a certain age. Marriage is not a complete necessity but a partner is always needed who is close to us as friends after a certain time gets busy in their own respective lives and here marriage becomes important especially in India. Marriage is not always bad but ofcourse that depends on the partner. Marriage helps in sharing responsibilities, gives the opportunity to have a family etc.
