Is there any possibility of establishing professional wrestling in India?

Wrestling is becoming popular day by day among people who are health conscious and want to build muscles like Khali and other foreign wrestlers. India is having many professional wrestlers working with foreign countries, like the great khali, sunjay dutt and many others. Wrestling world entertainment in USA earns a lot of money each year. Only two shows per week are enough of earning thousands of dollars. So, according to me if any company or big shot try to and even company dare to open professional wrestling in India will definitely be encouraged and liked by the people.
 
Wrestling is the most popular game that youngsters and old people love to watch on tv. The game of boxing is also getting popular day by day and if you talk about establishing the wrestling profession in India then it is not at all a bad idea as there are many enthusiasts who are looking for such platform. Indian people do wrestling on the international arena and it would be good to see them performing at indian ring.
 
I don't think India government will allow to start professional wrestling in India. The reason is simple, we Indians always need PG telecasting in our televisions. The other problem is we don't have metro cities like US. WWE earns a lot of income because it is encouraged by fans and US country does have many cities to run their show.
 
Professional wrestling should be compared with circus shows here in India. Professional wrestling needs a lot of money investment and an unsure project. People in India need some amusement programs but not wrestling programs. I can say there's a chance of professional wrestling in India but it should be a small invested project and watch out how it works on Indian audience.
 
Professional wrestling will not have any market in india as people are more prone to watching WWE and other international wrestling on various channels. THere was a program based on wrestling was launched on some channel but soon is was closed due to less TRP that it got. SO I do not think that it would make any difference to indian minds.
 
Practically that doesn't work in India. As you mentioned above, WWE is a live telecasting program in USA. But the same program will be telecasting after 1 week on ten sports with complete censor certificate. So it's waste of time and money to think about professional wrestling in India, instead it's better to invest professional wrestling in countries like japan, russia, mexico.
