Kamam is a Sikh Pilgrimage destination and is situated in the Nawanshahr district of Punjab. It is a small village and features several Gurudwaras that attracts the Sikh pilgrims from all over the globe. The village also has rich historical account and according to it, the village was built by an Afghan Millitant. The village was also under the rule of the Rajputs and this is evident from some of the historical monuments in the place. Gurudwara Nanaksar, Gurudwara Charan Kanwal, Gurudwara Gurpalah, Suraj Kund, Gurudwara Gurpartap, Gurudwara Panj Tahli, Gurudwara Tahli Sahib, Gurudwara Shahidan, Gurudwara Shahidganj, Gurudwara Tahli Sahib, Gurudwara Manji Sahib and Gurudwara Gola Shah are the Gurudwaras situated in Kamam and these makes it a popular Sikh pilgrimage destination.
