Khudiram Bose was a young revolutionary who was hanged at the age of 18 years. He was a true patriot who sacrificed his life for the motherland. He was born on 3 December 1889 in West Bengal and was the only son after 3 daughters of Trailokyanath Basu and Lakshmipriya Devi. He was especially disappointed with the British following the partition of Bengal in 1905 and he joined Jugantar, a party of revolutionary activists. He was known for his courage and fearless nature since adolescence and was highly influenced by the revolutionary ideas. He was arrested and hanged in the year 1908 for several bombing cases. He was true hero and a Nationalist and deserves to be remembered and respected for his contribution towards the freedom movement of India.
