Kosi is a small town in the state of Uttar Pradesh and an economic and industrial center of the state. It falls on the Agra-Delhi highway in the Mathura district. The hamlet is also well-known for its rich culture and has several myths and mythological tales associated with it. It is also known as "Braj Bhoomi" and since it lies in the meeting point of states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan, it has an unique amalgamation of three different cultures. The town also has religious importance and many devotees visit this place for the temples. Nagar Devi Temple is one of the major temples in the town and several devotees visits this town for this temple. Bisakha Kund, Maya Kund, and Gomati Kund are other major tourist attractions of this town.
