Lets Make a Ragging Free India !

previously Indian schools and colleges had ragging menace to the extent that students were very high in number, committing suicides. it is common sense and one needs to think that no one owes anything to anyone for being junior or senior. students should behave responsibly in colleges and schools because everyone is equally important as they themselves are. steps should be taken by both students and staff members to prevent such issues.

Ragging is everywhere in India. Most of the people concerned about ragging in educational societies only. Ragging is found in offices, industries, sports academy and believe or not it does happen in military offices also.
Recently I met one of my friends who’s came out from military and he was explaining about ruthless behavior of his officers

You are talking about military? Damn, the rules are so strict and after that also they are facing the problem of ragging in military? I do not believe this. Whatever it is but literally I find ragging disgusting personally. This is one such humiliating thing that brings embarrassing situations to many people who are going through this problem.

Oh come’ on even I feel the same when he was saying but we need to learn the fact why my friends needs to say wrong about military.
My friend’s family belongs to military, his daddy and all his dad’s brothers worked in military. Even though he ran out of military so we need to understand him rather live in a feeling like military is very strict and very decent and other cock and bull stories

It is quite impossible to make india ragging free as there are many colleges that starts new session with ragging and students find it in fact consider it as a tradition these days. Ragging if done to some limit then its fie or else it takes weird shape once go out of limit and tends to create suicidal feeling among students who are the victims of ragging. According to me this tradition of colleges should be banned completely.
 
Ragging in colleges have come to an end to a certain extent as it has been declared as a punishable offence. Ragging, earlier meant just a formal introduction of the new students but with time it took an ugly look and the senior students started abusing the new comers in the name of ragging. Many students even committed suicide as they could not take it and felt insulted or humiliated in front of others. With the order of the Government,ragging has already been banned in many colleges, however, those colleges that haven't banned it should do it as soon as possible.
 
Without ragging in college is a good education system. It is the only think which ruins the whole environment and mind of the student.
 
Ragging normally helps students with good guidance and interactions with seniors but now they are not at all utilizing it in a good way.Now this ragging protest act has been implemented in my college a couple of years ago.It is in good progress now.
 
Ragging frequently consists of mock-interview and mock-trials of the freshers. Seniors would tease the freshers about their looks or about their manners. Abnormally tall or short students would be easy targets as also the fat and the lean. Students wearing glasses would have their glasses snatched away and made to read without them. Some freshers would be asked to run errands for the seniors.

Ragging can be stopped by:

1. Separating hostels for seniors and freshers.

2. Warden must be strict and must have the power to deal with all type of situations.

3. Students must be warned properly not to harass or torture freshers in colleges or hostels.
