Mandu is an ancient town in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is one of the popular heritage destination of India. The town is also known by the name of Mandavgarh. It has a rich historical past and this attracts a horde of tourists from all over the World. Mandu was ruled by Alauddin Khilji, who maned it as Shadiabad. The town was the defence capital of the Rajput Parmara rulers, who ruled Mandu. The town has several monuments which depicts the Afghan architecture.
