Naliya is an important Jain pilgrimage center as it has Abdasa Ni Panchtirthi, one of the five most important Jain temples. It is a town situated in the Kutch District of Gujarat and is also a base of the Indian Air Force. Naliya is visited by Jain pilgrims all throughout the year. The place is famous for its ancient temples and people from various places visits this town to witness the ancient carvings, glass work and sixteen shining peaks. The town is also well known for its unique Gujarati embroideries, which include Aari, Chicken, Gurjar, Kapdi, Pakko and Neran. Bhagawan Shantinath and Astapada are the two Hindu temples in the town that attracts the Hindu pilgrims in the state.
