Navadwipa(Navadvipa) is a custure of nine islands, namely, Antardvipa, Simantadvipa, Godrumadvipa, Madhyadvipa, Koladvipa, Ritudvipa, Jahnudvipa, Modadrumadvipa and Rudradvipa and falls in the state of West Bengal. Navadwipa is situated in the juncture of the two rivers Bhagirathi and Jalangi and falls in the Naida District. The place has a rich history attached to it as well as was an educational hub of India and was named as Oxford of Bengal. The place has become a prominent religious destination for being the birthplace of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and houses several religious places.
