what makes gokarna beach so special is the fact that this beach forms a coast along the town, while all other beaches in the town fall towards the south of this beach. there are 4 other beaches in the town.
apart from the beaches, the town also has some other tourist attractions like bhadrakali temple, kotiteertha, maha ganpati temple, mahabaleshwar temple and Om beach.
