The Pinjore Heritage Festival is an annual festival held at Pinjore in the state of Haryana. This festival is organized by the Haryana Tourism Department with the intention to draw the attention on the culture and heritage of this region. This is a three days long festival held in the month of October.

About Pinjore Heritage Festival
The state of Haryana celebrates the rich, glorious culture of India in its different fairs and festivals that are celebrated with equal splendour and vivacity. The distinctive and intricate culture and traditions of Haryana draws a large number of visitors every year across the World to get a flavour of this affectionate state. There are many fairs and cultural events that find place in the calendar of the state and these festivals are occasions of carnival, enjoyment and play when the entire state of Haryana bustles with life. The Pinjore Heritage Festival is somewhat a new addition to India’s cultural calendar. The first Pinjore Heritage festival was organized in 2006 and floated by its triumph and the huge response, the Government of Haryana has now made it an annual event. This festival is held at the Yadavindra Gardens. The venue is momentous as these gardens are regarded as one of the oldest Mughal gardens in the world. The Fair is an opportunity developed by the government to showcase and emphasize the town of Pinjore with its rich heritage, gardens and potential of great tourism. Pinjore is an ancient town developed in Vedic times and is extremely famous for its exotic gardens and tourist attraction. One of the most unique and attractive feature of the garden is the 7 descending levels of Garden arrangement. This festival is organized to give a boost to the tourism of the region as well as the state as a whole. With the vibrant display of the rich culture, this festival has been successful in magnetizing the tourists from different parts of the globe to witness the beauty of Indian culture and Heritage.

Celebration of Pinjore Heritage Festival
The Pinjore Heritage Festival embodies an assorted blend of different dance forms, which includes classical, folk and pop culture being exhibited together. This festival displays a diverse range of cultural events that ranges from ghazal recitals to rock music. This festival acts a platform for the art and culture of the state of Haryana, despite the fact that artists from all over India concentrate and perform on this festival. This festival is also the time when the Yadavindra Gardens are at their glorious best. The garden is designed in seven descending steps. During the 3 days of the Pinjore Festival, the entire garden is decorated with lights and embellishment, providing a wonderful setting for the artists. The Pinjore Heritage Festival also has a popular Food Bazaar. This bazaar provides an opportunity for visitors to taste cuisines from different parts of India. A craft bazaar similar to the kind that existed during the Mughal reign is also set up, which has traditional Indian artefacts for sale.
 
Hery thanbks for the post, when is thios festival celebrated, I have never been to Haryana but heard a lot about their hospitality, so would like to visit and celebrate the same in Harayana this time.
