Kasauli is a small town near Simla home to the Famous Lawrence school of Sanawar, it was a much preferred holiday destination during the British rule and is still one on the list of many. It is not a much advertised tourist spot but is a beautiful town with a breathtaking view of the mountains. Name some other beautiful places that are not talked about much ??

I have heard a lot about kasauli and it is indeed an amazing place. I have many friends who resides in kasauli. but the information that you have given about this place is indeed a good one. This is an awesome place and i have been there few times, but the school is not familiar to me, thanks for sharing the information. I know one place that most of the people would have not heard about and that is bageshwar near ranikhet. This is just superb and Lord Shiva temple is teh main attraction of this place. You can easily see a mountain from this temple that shows the image of Om.

kaziranga national park is another place where not many people have been to. since it lies in the extreme east of assam, travelling becomes a hurdle but for the nature lovers, it is one of the most authentic and pleasurable experience to be in there. you can find exquisite animals like the red panda, rhinoceros, the chimpanzee which cannot be found elsewhere. you can visit resorts located inside the park too and have a stay in there if you have longer stay plans.

I am sure that many people would have not heard about the place bageshwar. This place is located near haldwani and ranikeht and is an outstanding place to visit. You can visit the very famous temple of lord shiva known as patalbhwneshwar. This is a small place but worth visiting.
