Most probably no country in the world has so many political parties.

Opening of a political party has just become like a business in India. Instead of serving the country with an ideology, they form the party just like establishing a business. Election commission must have to intervene. The commission must have to exercise its power to control the business of forming political parties.

Though there are rules that a candidate can spend only a certain amount of money in the election, no candidate is following it. Even such violations can’t be controlled in the college election. Then how can we expect someone to control it at national or state level. We need a better system.

We need one party system, two party systems or a multi party system should also be a matter of debate. A two part system should not be suitable for India , but at the same time, existence of so many parties is also unnecessary. It’s the time to look into the relevance of regional parties too. Are they creating disharmony in the country.

A political party must have to act without causing hurt to the nationalism of our country.

Election Commission should have the power to bar such political parties from contesting the election.

    Hi,
The number of political parties operating in our country is a measure of the freedom we enjoy. We are, in general, hardly interested in the ideology of a political party. We tend to be attracted by the charisma of the leadership of a political party. We would be prepared to support any cause put forward by such a leader as long as he/she enjoys our trust. Vision and objectives by themselves do not attract followers. Strategies for execution of the plans to achieve them are equally, or perhaps more important to the growth of the party as a strong national one. Those who tend to view sectoral interests as national interests cannot succeed in sustaining the interest of the people, long term. The primary concern of every member of this group shall be his/her commitment to promote the pride of Indians. The wealth of knowledge which flowed from generation to generation in our country was temporarily buried under a shallow layer of modernisation of our educational system. It is high time for us to unearth the hidden truth. We should employ our talent to analyse the messages of nature to build a strong and prosperous India. The number of political parties would come down as and when we opt for objective analysis of each proposal with reference to its effectiveness for nation building.

    Joy

    Our multiparty system

Whoever wants can create a new party in India. It is perhaps the only country with so many parties exist. This multi party system has called for serious trouble while selecting the government. It’s amazing how frequently a party can change hands and support. This is also the reason why a single party does not have a strong enough majority which calls for a coalition government.

No I can't agree on This. All the big Indian Political Parties are maintaining thundering silence on Black Money in Swiss Banks.Any Body can have his party in India.

If Politics is business, why not join it and do it ethically? Let us not blame the Indian system but be a part of the system and improve it from within. That's the easiest way than trying to change the Constituion of India. Problem is not with the Constitution but with electorates.

Hindu society is a democratic society. It tolerates opposition and also respects difference of opinion. Therefore India has the largest number of parties like the largest number of religions and their different branches. They are all respected and hence we have also the largest number of parties. We believe in Vasudeva Kutumbkam, may all be happy. But fascist societies say that only the members of their society and followers of their religion be happy and may all be unhappy. They kill others to expand the base of their own religion. This is the cause of sorrow on other peoples.

    political parties in india

Though we have many political parties in India such as the BJP, the Congress we do lack a perfect party that can change India’s status. There are many parties emerging these days too but some of them have rational goals for the sole development of the country cannot withstand the competition from the bigger parties.

i dont disagree to the fact that political parties are emerging just the way new businesses do, but i dont even dislike the idea of establishing a political party with as much care, devotion and far-sightedness as we do for our own businesses. even if politicians are churning the national scenario for personal profits, it has to be a two-way process. expecting social service is a far-fetched dream, expecting them to be wise enough to make the nation profit from their ventures is was is required in today's political scenario.

    Politics in India

Differences of opinions and welcoming of thoughts has surely blessed India with lot of political parties. Each of these political parties tries to navigate the country towards development, but somewhere they are not able to reach the desired level of success. The issue is not with the parties that are functioning but the way they are functioning and for this the party members are not alone to be blamed but being the citizen of India, the responsibility lies on our shoulders as well. India today needs young members and leaders, but mostly everyone is trying to build career in different other streams apart from politics. We need to understand and realize that if we want our country to survive and succeed; all the citizens should give a helping hand.

Money is always involved in big organizations. Be it an India Political party or an Indian company. All that matters is how far the Political Party moves the country ahead. One can only imagine how much of money is eaten by government servants in the other well developed countries. They spend billions of dollars on campaigns to promote their political parties, where do you think that money comes from.

There are many regional parties who for many decades are regional....why? They know their reality...so they never think about Nation. In every issue they always come up with the interest of their region. If their region gets less they want more, we it gets more they still want more....

i think india is having more than enough political parties striving to come into power. each political party is wasting piles of money during the elections in advertising their name. and moreover these days new parties are coming up by seperating from the major parties. this is causing lot of money scam and this inturn is causing pressure on common man in the name of taxes.

If all people voting for political parties have enough consideration and respect towards the society, I don't think we need to bother about the number of political parties. Many people still vote based on the castes of the candidates, not on their accomplishments. Besides, more parties means we have more choices... I don't think the number matters at all.

So many political parties, so many leaders but none of them is of any use to the nation. The political parties are only wasting money on their agendas and promotions. they are filling their own pockets by the taxes that we pay to the government. Most of the economy of the indian government disappear without even knowing where it is going. Political parties are only for the name sake or to make huge money. None of them are of any business to indian people and india as a whole.

there are loads of political parties in india which compete during the elections. but it is always the major political parties like the NDA and UPA which rule the country. there are no clean political parties in india which can claim that they work without any selfish motive for the people of country.
