Poor rainfall means failure of cotton crop in Karnataka state. Cotton crop is a major crop of Karnataka especially the Northern region. Moreover there aren’t enough means of irrigation here. So farmers have to depend upon rain water to cope with the proper irrigation facilities at these places. Whenever they face drought like situation these farmer's cotton crop usually puts in the jeopardy. Government should provide the back up plans of irrigation to confront such situations at the time of needs as whether is changing every now and then due to global warming and seasons are also affected a lot due to this. People are facing unexpected rains where there were no rain at all and confronting the problem of drought at the rainfall prone areas.
