The price of food is increasing day by day. The prices of rice, wheat, edible oil, and salt have risen by 12 percent to 20 per cent, and the prices of some vegetables have doubled.And the central government isn’t doing anything.Let us discuss what should be done to fight against hunger.

In my opinion all the countries world over should concentrate on food production seriously.water and land resources should be utilized in a best possible way. Supply should be in excess then only prises will come down

Hi,

Price of any item rise when the demand exceeds production. Can the government forecast the demand correctly? I doubt. The pattern of consuption changes depending on availability. Fast food is preferred over home cooked food by urbanized nuclear family in India. Perceived shortage of food articles has a cascading effect on market price of the same. Subsidizing the price of food articles distributed through the public distribution system is a short sighted remedy to be resorted to only in case of emergency. The farmers would be encouraged to increase the productivity of their field when the government announces the procurement price for each item before sowing their field. The choice of the commodity to be sown would be decided by the farmer based on the return assured by the government on each item. The government policies shall be directed towards sustainable agricultural practices.

The one who suffers

The prices of petrol, Prices of LPG, Prices of CNG , prices of commodities and general necessities are increasing at an alarming rate. The finance minister seems to try his best but fail each time. The reason for all this is apparently corruption at beach level. While the political groups are following a divide and rule policy passing various reservation bills it is not taking into notice the already 500% increase in the prices. Something needs to be done.

Whenever there is a price rise the ultimate sufferer is the common man, who has limited budget and many ends to meet and with these continuous price rise, the ends are impossible to meet. The Indian government is trying to build buildings and great infrastructure and spend loads of money on statues and park, without realizing the basic problems of the country and its people. If the government spends money judiciously, probably they do not have to raise prices. Here the benefits that a common man gets from government are negligible, but what he or she pays in return, in form of taxes and prices is pretty high. Since the prices of edibles are reaching the sky, the only thing that can help with the supply of food is concentrating on agriculture, rather than importing products.

Petrol prices rise in India

Due to the Rising prices of petrol, commuting is becoming Expensive and unaffordable day by day. Budgets are going for a toss as increased fuel prices burn a hole in the pocket. Thinking of various ways to save fuel and reduce expenses is the need of the hour. I think even this Congress Government doesn't Know How to stop Rising Petrol Price in India.

price rise is very stinging issue as this stings to most of us indians as we are wealthy enough to bare the soaring prices. the per capita of indian is pretty less, so large population is having trouble in buying eatables too. feeding the hungry stomach has become a big deal these days in a country driven by wealthy corrupt politicians.
