I always feel revitalized and rejuvenated whenever I begin to think about my country; my motherland. Though there are a number of reasons to feel proud of my country, but I have my very own reasons that make me feel truly humbled and proud that I am an Indian! I have a very clear vision about what do I truly appreciate about my India.
Indian Values : And the foremost thing I am grateful for is the Indian Values that have been administered to me through my family and society. These values of; love, cooperation, brotherhood, harmony, social service, tolerance, mutual understanding, respect, humility, politeness are inbuilt into us since our childhood. Our parents and family are so much focussed about giving us the right values and lessons right from our childhood that help us to integrate ourselves with the community and the society. So that we do not feel disintegrated, these values are taught to us in order to promote habits of giving the right and receiving the good in life. Whenever I see the children from foreign countries I really feel a kind of pity that those children are certainly lacking in such great values, in so early age they get misled and disintegrated. They leave their homes in the search for their individuality and they themselves invite many problems. But In India we are so much saved and protected under the shield of high values that not only help us in realizing our own worth but also help in bringing others closer to us.
Spiritually Elevated Country: Secondly, I feel so much blessed to be born in a Spiritually Elevated Country. It truly has been my privilege to take birth in such a great land where numerous of spiritual masters have also been born. Their teachings and experiences are vast and one can absolutely become into a new and divine person when try to imbibe all of those experiences in personal life. What an amazing feeling it is to see and observe Rishi Munis, Sadhu Sants in front of the eyes. Vedanata, Upanishads, Bhagwad Gita all belong to India and I would be immensely glad if I would be able to read a get-to-know read to all these great scriptures. What a grand spiritual foundation, we have in India that introduces us with the reality of the soul and its faculties, I feel so blessed to be able to know even some of the glimpse of the different Indian Philosophies.
One Big Universe: I feel living in India is like; seeing the universe in a whole. Each corner, each state, every region or may it be any district have something unique to show and serve. You call food; its varied, you see attires; they are beautiful and elegant, you call culture; believe me, you would be astonished if you go on observing the varied cultures of different states of India and that too associated with different aspects. I mean, one can rarely find such a diversity in any other country of the world. One will run short of time if decides to explore India and its culture. For me, my country is a One big Universe that is abundant in everything.
