Puri is located on the eastern coastline of Bay of Bengal. It is a district in Orissa and is famous for its beaches and religious places. The major attraction is the Jaganath Temple which lures the tourists around the World. Another major attraction of the place is the Rath Yatra of the three idols-Jaganath, his brother Balbadra, and his sister Subhadra. It is a poor city and it is solely dependent on tourism industry. Chilka Lake, a large inland salt-water lake, Puri Beach, Gundicha Ghar and the Childlike Wildlife Sanctuary are the major attraction of the place. Exotic sea food can be tasted here.
