Pushkar is one of the oldest towns in India, situated in the Ajmer District of Rajasthan. The only temple of Lord Brahma in the world,the creator of the Universe is in this town and many religious beliefs are attached to it. It is one of the 5 Dhams of hindu pilgrimage. It has a lot of Mythological importance in the Hindu religion. The Pushkar Lake on the bank of which the town is situated, has 52 ghats and attracts many pilgrims. The Pushkar Camel fair is another popular event that attracts many tourist across the World. The town also offers desert safari which lures the tourist, making it a popular tourist destination of Rajasthan.
