Rainwater harvesting should be made compulsory in India?

People are facing huge water crisis in India especially people leaving in cities. It is mainly due to urbanization which has increased in the recent time. Not very long ago, water crisis problem was not there much. In order to deal with water crisis, rainwater harvesting is an effective way. It was first introduced in Andhra Pradesh. In rainwater harvesting, rain water is collected and stored and reused for drinking, irrigation livestock etc. It can actually reduce the problem of water. In my view rainwater harvesting should be made compulsory in India as it will solve the issue of water problem.

What do you think? Should it be made compulsory?
 
Water crisis is a major problem faced by people especially in big cities. I agree with you that rain water harvesting should be made compulsory in India as this can solve the problem of water supply to a great extent. It has solved the problem of water crisis in the state of Andhra Pradesh and in my view this should be practiced by every state and cities in India.
 
Every State in India is facing the problem of water crisis and this is happening due to excess growth of population. In my view, rain water harvesting should be made compulsory in order to meet the need of water. The water crisis problem is faced by almost every big cities and towns and this is mainly due to urbanization.
 
I agree that rainwater harvesting should be made compulsory in India. India is facing immense water supply issues, especially in the urban areas and the reason of the water supply problem is high rate of migration of people from rural areas to urban areas and this is increasing the water crisis. Rain water harvesting is a great solution to this problem and by making it compulsory, this problem can be easily tackled.
 
Definitely, rainwater harvesting should be made compulsory in India as it will to a certain extent stop the menace of water crisis in India. It is an effective way and will also help in irrigation and as a result, the production will increase in India and the agriculture sector will also flourish. It is a solution not only for water crisis but also for more crop production and will help India develop.
