Roing is a small town of the state of "Rising Sun", Arunachal Pradesh and it is the nerve center of the Lower Dibang Valley District. Like all other towns, Roing is also blessed with the beauty of the nature and this attracts a lot of tourists from all over North-East India. The town is situated on the foothills of Great Himalayas and the Dibang river, a tributary of the mighty River Brahmaputra, flows by the town, enhancing the beauty of it. The beauty of the town is further enhanced by the lush green mesmerizing valleys, snow-capped mountains and the affluent flora and faun. Apart from the natural beauty, the town of Roing is and adobe of various tribes of Arunachal Pradesh with their own culture and traditions and this attracts a horde of travelers from all over. The town has several places that grabs the attention of the tourists which include forts, wild life sanctuaries, temples and lakes. Some of the major tourist attractions of the town include Bhismaknagar Fort, Itapukhur, Padum Pukhuri,Sally Lake, Nehru Van Udyan,the Kampona Pond and Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary.
