Sasan Gir more popularly known as the Gir forest is situated in the State of Gujarat. It is famous and this is the only place which is inhabited by a huge number of Asiatic Lion. The place features 38 species of mammals, approximately 300 species of birds and 2000 insect species. This is one of the most famous jungle destination of the World and a protected Lion reserve in Asia. It is rich in flora and fauna and is one of the majar attraction for the adventure lovers. Apart from the jungle life, the place is also famous for Kamleshwar Dam, which is situated in the heart of the National Park.
