Satpuli is situated on the bank of River Purvi Nayar Ghati in the State of Uttarakhand. It falls in the Pauri Garhwal District and is located at an altitude of 657 m above sea level. The place got its name from the seven bridges present on the way to Kotdwara. The place lies between Kotdwara and Pauri Garhwal. The place is known for its beautiful landscape and Dangleshwar Mahadev, Jawapla Devi Mandir, Shri Radha Krishna Mandir, Bhairogarhi Mahadev and Khirshu are some of the most coveted tourist spots of this place. The place is the perfect destination for angling and fishing and this attracts a lot of tourists in and around the state. Ramleela, Girishmotsava and Sharadotsava are some of the major festivals of the place which are celebrated with fervor and grandeur.
