d). Secularism is an ideology which believes "that the state, morals, education, etc. should be independent of religion"
These above ideologies and values had a great impact on Indians. They changed the traditional attitudes and outlook of the people in the pre-independent India. Educated Indians came under heavy influence of these values. These values broadened their vision and made them to develop secular outlook.
