Subhash Chandra Bose deserves more recognition

There is no denying the fact that Subash Chandra Bose has not got the recognition that he deserves. Being one of the forerunners in the war of independence, he was much ahead in his strategies and vision. Had he been alive, the image of independent India would have been different.

He deserves a more honorable title than Netaji. Even Government of India forgot to celebrate his birthday after the independence. The government only declared his birthday as the “Neta ji Day” only a couple of years ago. Undoubtedly he was a great leader that India would most probably never witness. But he deserves a more significant title equivalent to “ Father of Nation ”. He gave up the prestigious ICS (Indian Civil Services) prestigious rank. And devoted himself in the freedom struggle partnering the world leaders.

Very few of us know that Subhash Chandra Bose liberated Andaman & Nicobar Islands from the British and renamed as “ Swaraj & Shahid ”. It is unfortunate that Govt. of India is not still officially recognizing these two names given by Netaji Subhash Bose.

May this great leader receive more recognition and may the people of India get inspired by his nationalism, patriotism and heroism. If our esteemed readers know something more about Neta ji, they are welcome to join this discussion. Readers can also express their views on Netaji.

I do not desire to start a war here, but all I have been fed is that Indian politicians of 1940's era recognised Netaji's growing clout, and some conspiracy happened, and Netaji died in some air-crash.

He was a leader of immense talent and great bravery.
I salute him today on his birthday !!!

HindustanTimes.com Exclusive, Netaji’s death unraveled.
Our goverment is thankless for his services. If a corrupt politician dies they portray him as a great hero. But when a great hero was alive they didnt even admit his existence, even till date they do not agree or disagree that he didnt die in aircrash.
He deserved more recognition. He was a national hero. Its really unfortunate that he had to live as an unknown in his own country for which he shed his blood.

I agree that Subhash Chandra Bose deserves recognition as without such a great leader, India would have never gained freedom. His contribution towards India's Independence is commendable. He was not only intelligent but was also a brave soldier. He was a true hero with great vision. He was the one who thought that India should be a democratic nation and also came up with ideas that helped India gain freedom from British rule. However, it is sad that he did not gain the recognition that he actually deserves.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is one of the greatest leaders of India who fought bravely for the freedom of the nation. However, it is really sad that a leader like Subhash Chandra Bose is not given the recognition that he actually deserves. He dedicated his life towards making India free from the colonial rule and such a great hero needs to be saluted by every Indian and he deserves more recognition than what he is actually given.
