The novel Edge of Desire by Tuhin Sinha is the story of a girl who was raped and that incident had actually turned her into a politician and this changed her life. The novel is based on the Indian political scenario during the 70’s and 80’s with some twists and turns. The novel also portrays the emotional aspect of the strong female protagonist. It is an average book with lots of filmy masalas, which might be liked by some readers. It is not a very serious kind of book, although it seems to be.
