Indian produced many methods of mathematics before many years. Even there was a decimal in place in the period of Harappa. Mathematics has become a part of education today and there can’t be any sort of education without mathematics. Therefore the ancestors in India developed many methods and short cuts of mathematics for the purpose of counting numbers and education hundred of years ago.

Decimal system became an integral part of Indian mathematical history many years back. Even in the Vedic period there are a lot of uses of mathematics by the people for their common work and counting. India is the only country which introduced mathematics to this world first.

In the ancient times the Indian mathematics was very famous and popular among the people a lot. India is a country which provided the great mathematician to the world who was Aryabhat which methods and techniques of mathematics was great and based on his own analysis. Indian mathematical history is quite unique and has a lot of achievements in the field of mathematics.

Arithmetic is introduced to the world by the Indian mathematicians plenty of years ago. Indian mathematics is said to be difficult and is having a lot of principles which are proven by the great experts in the field of mathematics. Binary number system was developed by the Indian in the ancient times and this system of binary numbers is used on the languages of the computer by the people all over the world.

Trigonometry was the top most chapters of mathematics across the world which was also getting developed and elaborated in India by the Indian mathematicians. In Geometry Square roots and Cube roots are very much used by the most of the people these days and it has become an important part of the education of mathematics at present.

This information is just great and I want to share one more information that there are many words in English that are derived from the Sanskrit language like "matr" as "mother" in English and "bhratr" as "brotehr". all these information and history of india makes us feel proud to be an indian.

Aryabhatta was born in Magadha near Patliputra, the modern patna located in Bihar. His Period was from 476 till 550 A.D. Lots of peopel think that he was born and bought up in kerala, south india but he lived in the city of patliputra called Magadha during the Gupta rulers time that is called as Golden age of India.

Aryabhatta was known as the indian mathematician. He already knew that earth spins and on its axis, it moves round the sun as well as moon rotates around the earth. He knew the history of the Sun and Moon as well as Stars very well. He also knew that moon does not have its own light and the reflection of Sun gives the moon its light.

India has given many great mathematician since ages.
