Mohammad Ghori unlike Mahmud of Ghazni was interested in expanding his empire to Northern India. He fought Prithviraj Chahuan and defeated him in the second battle. In 1206, after his death he left Qutub-Ud-Din Aibak in charge who made the famous Qutub Minar in Delhi. This is one of the most admired tourist place for people around teh nation.
 
Qutub minar of Delhi is a major tourist attraction because it is one of the attractive historical monuments in India along with the red fort. It is the largest brick minaret in the world with a height of 72.5 meters. Many foreigners throng the place to admire its beauty and might which represents the indian monumental strength proudly.
