What do you think about tour packages?

Does tour packages really works? I mean are they really cheap or they just show it in the bouchers and if they are cheap do they provide the quality?
 
No reviews yet? I just wnat to know that how tour packages work and if any one has any information any genuine tour package travel agency then please let me know.. I just want to try it once.. as I have heard a bit about it!
 
if we talk about tour packages which are given by the indian travel agents for travelling within india then the truth is that they are not at all cheap in any sense. datas are just manipulated for the sake of increasing sales. but the offers for travelling abroad are actually given at the reduced prices but that too with the certain terms and conditions which need to be studied carefully.
 
I guess in India, for some people , traveling can be done on one's own.But its always a different story if you're traveling to a foreign country.I think it makes sense to book a package for that and let some1 else handle all my planning tensions.I've personally never booked a package abroad, but Ive heard great package offers from companies like Raj, Coxnkings, kuoni , kesari etc
 
Tour packages are worth it

Tour Packages do have some hidden costs but they are not that high that you will be at loss. You got to pay for the comfort of not planning and only enjoying. The best part of such packages is that you go in a group and make new friends. This itself is fun.
There are packages which are really cheap and worth it also.
 
The tour packages differ greatly from one firm to another because, some of them offer good quality service and charge high. And there are some which attract people with very low packages and more number of places of touring. But these are not reliable and usually do not stick to what they agree to offer. the reason being simple that they would not get huge profits if they lend you exact service what they promise.
