Which one is the best sedan car in India ?

Honda City is still the best car in its class overall. But the high pricing [almost one lakh more than the competition] makes it average deal.you can get a lancer cedia or even a Toyota Corolla altis at slightly higher price 
so discard city from the list.
Among the other options, Fiat Linea is good but the mediocre 1.4 FIRE engine is not withstanding. Its a guzzler and isn't very powerful either. With Fiat's service still being an issue i think we can discard Linea too. [has there been a diesel option, Linea is a no brainier]
And finally we have the Ford Fiesta S and Maruti Suzuki SX4.
Thinking about the Maruti SX4 , its main advantage is that its a Maruti Car. So ownership experience should not be a problem. Its loaded with all necessary features at a reasonable price tag.Its massive car with very high ground clearance and is ideal for Indian roads.Only issues with this car is its build quality and the fuel economy. Economy is hardly anything more than 11 kmpl Moreover interiors are not all that spacious as it looks from outside.
Ford Fiesta on the other hand is a driver's delight. It has got a near perfect suspension setup that gives a great balance between ride and handling. Fiesta's Engine is more responsive than that of Maruti SX4 and more fuel efficient too. Only issues with this car is its service and interior space.
So you can choose either of these cars.

SX4 is a great car and also good VFM.. i personally love it.... interior quality could be better but can live with it...now even they have come with VVT technology. which will defiantly solve the mileage issue. I am going for sx4 because of its SUV riding position and good performance No car in this segment gives 16" alloy wheels. sx4 is still a far better choice than the Costly Honda City.
i think the best sedan car in india is Tata indigo manza which offers about 14kmpl of mileage and is priced around 4.8 to 6 lacs. if you are willing to spend a little more on your car then Honda city ZX is good as it gives a mileage of around 12-13kmpl and is priced around 6 to 7.5 lacs and it also offers good looks.

The sedan segment is witnessing a good boom in India these days. Honda city used to be unbeatable in this segment for the past few days but then Hyundai's new verna has been launched with enhanced looks and better pricing that what Honda city offers. Even the mileage is better of verna when compared to that of Honda city.

This is under your budget as well and you can purchase different colors as they all are readily available in the market.
To me Hyundai verna fluidic is one of the best sedan car in India. Stylish, sleek, luxurious and sporty! The looks are just awesome! The next best car would be Ford Fiesta AT which is also good in looks and performance. Pricing of both are cars is similar ranging between 8.5 to 10 lacs.

You can find many sedans in India but for the best one, you will have to shed few extra bucks! If you are willing to spend 10 lacs you can grab Hyundai verna, Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, Honda city, Fiat Linea and Ford Fiesta! You can go with hyundai verna in case you want a low maintenance costing and stylish car.
