Whom Do i vote ?

With elections round the corner,i was wondering whom do i need to vote. I am stuck. On one side there are parties full of criminals, hooligans, thieves,corrupt politicians.Their responsibility is to change the nation, take it towards development. These leaders wake up just before elections and sleep after they are over.

We work in villages and tribal areas, the entire system is corrupt. Its just on paper that the development is seen, in real life its just NOTHING...

the entire budget for development just dries up...till it reaches the beneficiaries .. WE NEED TO STOP THIS.

we need to stop tolerating all this..stop accepting what been thrown on us. stop accepting the REASONS/ EXCUSES. stop listening to those politicians who are awake just before and after the elections for 6 months.

its the attitude...that is reflected..


Do i have a choice.. today i see only one choice.. TO VOTE for whom i don't respect to OR just NOT TO VOTE.
 
I Somnath Maity an engineering student. I am very much worried about the political paties that they dividing the country in the name of region of the people , caste ,religious Believes & so many things.

This is the 1st time I am going to cast my vote, please suggest me some thing on this. :confused:

I am not satisfied by election procedure in the country
 
As an Indian I want to say that there is a provision in Constitution for No (0) voting. By which we cant expressed our view to the nation. But I dont know why the Govt. does not implemented it. If they are worried about the vote cutting they should have to be clear on their issues and joining in mutual understanding. Look no one does not want any difficulties in their mind, but looking frsh idea on the matter. Because If select a group of specific party or nominated mutual parties (so called third party) then they are following their own vision. They could not work for the nation improvement by economically, socially, international matters or so many grounds.

So the opinion from my end to the nation for pressurize the Govt. for No Voting option in the Election System.

But it is my personal opinion. I want to know what the country say about it. Becausez in Democracy Country person comes first.

I think out nation has lost all its pride. I strongly believe that the head of the nation has to be an INDIAN. Nehru or Indira only made congress there personal property, there were strong leaders like Lal Bahadur Shastri who was educated in India and of strong Indian value who had led this country.

Its time we end the dynasty rule in India. We have grown up, these people are our elected government servants and not our rulers.
 
All of us in this Forum are proud to be an Indian. But the reasons for being proud are different for each one of us. This is the beauty of India. This is the strength of India and also its weakness. We fail to unite on any one course of action.

The enemy of India is our failure to identify the priorities. We cannot be subdued by any external force unless we let them overpower us.

The opinions expressed here indicate that there are different views on the same topic. I would request you to spell out your views on the main problems to be addressed by the Government of India for the welfare of its people. It should be followed up with the strategy you propose to address them.

Painting one person or one political party in poor colours will not lead us anywhere.

It would be not prudent to go for personal attack.In democracy it is the people who decides their ruler in a most decent way of voting like we have seen in USA , where opinion may differs but nationality and national pride remain same.In India, Nehru dynasty enjoys the privilege to get a section of peoples support. Incidentally or accidentally Sonia Gandhi is enjoying that legacy. Congress party is individual centered party that Nehru & Indira Gandhi made by their personal charisma.Without any member of that family Congress party will ruin and defects. It is the people of India will decide what Sonia Gandhi has added values to the nation in last five years.But is is true that she is successfully got Congress Party under one banner and hold its control.

Dear Shalin Bhatnagar / Fellow citizens,

We must VOTE for Development and Growth. Because only you can do that and that too only now.you will get this chance only once in 5 years.

Thoughts like politicians are ALL corrupt arise out of our selfishness, where we start calculating what you or your needed people are not receiving or receiving. Governments stand for taking decisions in general. which will benefit majority. Of course politics is also a base for such decisions. Take each policy decisions and assess whether a beneficiary is there or not? Shashi Tharoor in one of his speech as many wise men already pointed out that only Rs.1 out of Rs.100 sanctioned reaches beneficiary. Rest is eaten by middlemen or contractors and corrupted middlemen. Few politicians, government officials (Govt. doctors, Govt. Engineers, unskilled people like clerks, other office staff etc....) as well might be there in this group of middle men who eats away such benefits

Corruption or bad people are present in every sector. Don't just blame Politian's. You know them because they have publicity because of the nature of their work.

Just think where we were in 1947 and where we are now. That comparison gives us an idea on what developments Indian governments (Congress, BJP, Janta Dal) have brought in here.

If we are not Voting we are not doing our duties as a citizen of India. Make sure you are appearing in Voters list and you have a voters ID. Also Make sure you exercise your VOTE in favor of Development and growth of our country.

I can understand your feeling. This feeling is not only yours, but of many Indians who have little thinking ability. But if you look to the whole issue and analyze, you will find that the root cause of corrupt and criminal politicians lays in our constitution, which gives voting right to all Indians above 18 years. Now more then 50% Indians are illiterate, physically weak, do not have thinking ability and understanding. They are the people exploited by the politicians for vote by offering few rupees or a bottle of country liquor. What will you expect from such politicians ? Thus I believe that their is a need to change our constitution and voting rights should be restricted for only literates. Then only our progress is possible.
 
I am staying in hyderabad and i can tell you one STATESMAN from here. It's Loksatta's Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan who thinks of India. And of course there are some really good ones though very few) in parties like congress and BJP also.
 
If you don't have a choice of Choosing the right person , then tak a survey from people and vote for the person who will perform well.

Hi i have to say that there are lot problem which we can point out but lets think of solution than problems and for voting i can say only one thing dont think of party or image of the person right now u just vote for the person in ur place who u think can bring change or who is better than other in that place.Not voting means letting anyone rule so Vote
 
Just think about those who were sacrifice their lives, whenever we have been threatened for our democracy,unity and safety in all level of circumstances. So, before cast of your vote, decide to select as a right person(patriotic) can support to Democratic and Republic of India.
