Hello Friends,

One question keeps popping up in my mind since last few days..and that is..amidst so much of recession around the globe..amidst huge losses and layoffs reported by companies all over the world, why is the Indian stock market rising? for a while its been like this that stock market report more of ups since last quite a few sessions

What is the reason behind such rise? is the Indian economy protected against the odds against which the other countries are not protected or the rise is speculative or its a political backing which is there behind the rise to fund the election expenses by the parties?

please discuss your views..

I think this is something which is very difficult to answer because no one knows why the stock market is rising or why it not performing to a certain level.
I think the best way to understand the market is take some expert's advice like mansukh or religare because they can help you out in predicting the market and can help you out in getting better returns

Immune to recession

Is it something like India is immune to recession? The question arises since while all the other countries are crumbling under the burden of recession, the Indian market seems literally untouched. The Indian stocks still show growth when the Wall Street is crumbling down. There may be many factors…IPL, elections etc but it’s a real boon and we should be thankful for it.

Why is Indian stock market rising?

This is quite strange to see Indian stock market rising even after, when the world in suffering from recession. Well all we can say that recession might has turned out a blessing in disguise for India. All that can be said about the reason for the stock market rising is that; though India did has an impact of recession, but it was not badly hit and only suffered slow down. The other thing that might happened that since the main sectors that were hit badly were private sectors, the public sectors started gaining power and therefore Indian stock market started undergoing paradigm shift. Today since private companies are rolling back in shape, both the sectors are cumulatively pulling the stock market upwards.

i think the reason behind this is that indian markets are not much dependent on the american markets. it was recession which mostly affected america and its investors. india has good domestic supply and production. the companies are best with their working strategies and tactics in the markets. both public and private sectors are helping each other stay stable

indian markets are mostly relying on foreign trading and so if the international markets are affected even indian markets undergo changes. if the tradings go well and there is huge demand then the stock markets go up else there is downfall of the stocks. moreover india does not have public private partnership as said above, due to which the tolerance capacity for the changes is low for indian markets

probably it is because india is doing well on foreign trade... india has vast foreign trading tie ups and lots of international commerce takes place. the indian companies are making more and more profit and so the indian share markets are rising.
