Will women receive protection from our law?

The women's Protection against sexual harassment at the work place bill and Sexual assault bill are yet to become functional in order to provide adequate protection to the women bearing brunt of men's cruelty. Even if the bills get passed and become functional, do you think there would be fair and fast justice to the women victims? Give in your thoughts!

Although the Constitution of India and other laws in India provides protection to women, yet women are not safe in India.The women's Protection against sexual harassment at the work place bill has been recently passed and i really hope that this Act comes out to be successful in providing protection to the woman folk in India against the various assaults and crimes.

There are many laws enacted for the protection of women in India but due to flaws in our legal system, women are not able to seek protection under these laws. Moreover, there are many pending bills that need to be passed like the sexual harassment at the work place bill and Sexual assault bill. If the legal system is reformed, these laws will be quite effective in protecting women from various crimes.
