Women and Safety in Delhi

I am composing my thesis about "women, public space and safety in delhi" and i would like to know what your experiences are or were when in Delhi.
Do you feel threatened when in public space?
Do you avoid certain places at certain times?
Do you think about the kind of clothing you put on when you leave the house?

Women and safety goes hand in hand:not only in delhi but everywhere

Being safe whether in Delhi or any other place, is obviously the top ranked necessity of every woman today.
Yes, there are some places that should definitely be ignored at some point of time for going alone but this does not at all mean that no women can go there.
Today are the modern days so dressing style should not be a big deal but yes many times it does become important to take care that you are wearing right clothes to suit the crowd at your desired destination to go.

woman isn't more unsafe than what she thinks herself to be. it is all in our mentality. however, i do not completely disagree to the point that increased crime increases risk to women, her life and dignity, but being self conscious and aware can help a lot to bring down the rate of crime against women.
