Women in Rural India

Although India is said to be developing and has progressed in many spheres, yet the Rural India is not as developed as the Urban area. Most of the people in the rural areas are still uneducated and the status of women in rural India is still the same as before and they are still subjected to various social evils like child marriage, gender discrimination and are still confined in the houses loaded with domestic responsibilities.

I completely agree wit you that Rural India still lacks development and women are still not empowered. Education has not touched many villages and women folk are still uneducated and this is leading to social evils and women are generally the victim of these evils. Women in Rural India still lack proper exposure and are ignorant about many things.
