working women VS non working women

Is only working woman can be a good life partner? In today's fasting world any boy who is suitable for marriage always demand for a working girl as a life partner. So my question hea is tat only working out defines that a woman will be a good house maker. What about her mental structure, her ideas, her thinking. Is it only a working woman would be a good wife or rather house wife.
 
As per your question I think working women have more probability to have better IQ and ability to ignore minor things which creates negative effects in family.

They are better career planner and example of survival for her children.

The distinction of working/ non working women will not vanish and infact working women are taking precedence over non working non only in martimonial aspects but also other social respects.

Its insecurity in men coming down the inherited thoughts/beliefs as the "Supporter and provider" of family which is taking a beating in present global economic scenerios. The "traditional role" and present economic realities compell men to seek earning partner.

The present Indian societies conditions is changing very fast and its reflection and ripple effect is being felt and known in B, C class cities as well and also in rural areas. Locally in India, we have unfortunately very bad sex & skewed ratios in many states. Girls/ women are traded to be wifes or shared by many brothers on yearly basis.

The day is not far when we will have "House Husbands", rearing kids etc.
The female will not only get educated, do jobs, run business, make kids, raise them with their men being the main rearer of kids etc.

Please note that globally the male of human species is dying and we have more females then males and this percentage is slowly increasing.
(Please ignore male deaths to disease, war, terrorism etc. Those are insignificant factors. (Factors are genetic and weaker sex mentallly , physically, emotionally psychologically etc)

Do a google search and you will have your answers.
 
Here is a news paper report i said a few years ago. Mrinal Sen made a film EK DIN PRATHI DIN. Here, a young working woman, who normally comes home by 6 pm fails to turn up on time. What happens in that house between 6 pm and earning moring when she turns up is the story of the woman. The role of the mother was played by Mrinal Sen's wife.

We will never come to know where she went or why she was so late. All we know is some one drops her home in a car when she comes back. We will never know because, Mrinal Sen said, IT WAS HER LIFE. WHERE SHE WENT IS NOT IMPORTANT FOR ME! My focus is on what happens at home.

In Paris, in a Press Conference, the wife of Mrinal Sen was asked by a reporter; MADAM, YOU HUSBAND HAS PRODUCED A FILM WHERE HE MAKES A STATEMENT ON THE RIGHTS OF A WOMAN. AND YOU HAVE ACTED IN THAT FILM. What was your experience?

She replied, " Well, we used to leave home in the morning together around 9 am. would return by 6 pm. When we come back, Mrinal would say, I am very tired. I need a cup of tea." And i would proceed to kitchen to make tea.

A working woman has to manage three careers - her home, her employment and her children. A non working woman has to manage two careers - her home and herself.

It is difficult to say which one is better than the other. But considering safety to woman, a working woman has better security than a non working woman. But this too cannot be generalised. We in India are in a transition period, so to say, when the number of women working and being economically dependent is on the raise but patriarchal society has not given up!
 
Few years back men wanted women that were homely, know how to cook well, raise children properly.. Now times have changed.. i guess from my point view, men are now consiously considering a fact that since women demand equal rights, they share equal responsibility too financially, then again, its up to the individuals to compromise..

Today Indian television is presenting a new image of women, a woman who is not working out yet truly aware of the world outside, she just sticks to traditional values yet open to the modern changes too. Whenever there is problem in the house come, she tries to solve it through her wit and determination. She is a domestic woman but she is not in any ways behind those who work outside. So I don think these type of woman are only at the television screens they exist in our society too. So only working out cant make women superior. So why attach that slang of domestic girl "Gharelu larki" to the girl who prefers taking care her home rather than the world outside. Working out or not is a matter of personal choice that is never make the one superior to other.

Yes I am an enterprenuer, I graduated from IIT Kharagpur in 2007, I floated my own company in the same year with one of my seniors and one Venture Capitalist. I am one of the Executive directors and Acting C.E.O. We have clients like Reliance Infrastructure, HAFED (Government of Haryana), PWD, BR (Bridges and Road, Haryana), ACRS etc.

Yes I am an enterprenuer, graduated from IIT Kharagpur in 2007, running my own company since then, with a senior from the institute and a VC. Working women are always better off socially, mentally and emotionally compared to homemakers, they also yield more control over their life, and thats important by my standards.

Sure, it helps if the partner is rational, but this world is full of surprises. Plus love doesn't fill your empty belly, two working hands are always good, in case something goes wrong. This has become more vital since our souciety is moving towards nuclear-family concept, so security umbrella of a joint family is gradually missing.

Is this the way we are planning to empower women? Economic freedom is the basis of all other freedoms we talk about, and if women really are not interested in it, they must not cry when they are discriminated socially/politically. Society cares for the productive member first, others can enjoy special treatment, but like a dependent and not as a free member.
 
Working women

being ambitious is good.. every educated female should utilize her knowledge in her area of interest... It is a myth that working females neglect their families... Its all about balancing your personal and professional life.. Both the men and the lady are resposible for a successful relationship... its irrational to blame working women for the rising number of couples falling apart...Smart females ae well versed with the art of balancing....
 
Working women and non working women have their own importance.. they cannot be judged alone on the basis of work.. women at home does not sit idle they also have lots of work to do at home.. so they cannot be compared..

My answer to this is that much depends on her education and the financial need for an income. If the husband has a good income, why would she work when she has to take care of children and the home? I know women's liberty is necessary, but a wife should not forget her home. Some kind of home based business is also possible for many women. In the end, the answer to this question depends on the individual personality and financial needs.

after reading all the comments,. i come to the conclusion that people have varied opinions in this matter, but generally today's youth is preferring working women not just because they share the financial burden but they are expected to be more mature and wise than a homemaker who only knows the pickle recipes. no doubt, today's youth is looking for a working woman as their life partner, it is equally important for Indian women to continue with the cultural traits and traditional aspects of an Indian women that our females have been driving all these years.
