South Korean auto maker Hyundai is perhaps the strongest brand when it comes to the sedan segment. Despite not having a presence in the compact sedan vertical, this car maker has a sizeable share in the market. The design architecture of most models of the Hyundai brands is based on the Fluidic concept, which has earned a lot of acclaim from critics and the media. A great example of the success of this platform is Hyundai Elantra, a model that did not do as well initially but after a massive makeover, this car has gone on to perform exceptionally in the market. Hyundai Elantra is an executive sedan that has been loved by customers in the country and appreciated by critics as well.Hyundai Elantra is an extremely elegant looking car that aptly represents the sort of philosophy the South Korean car maker stands for. In fact, the dazzle, swagger and charm of Hyundai Elantra are enhanced by the elongated headlamps, smart radiator grille and sharp fog lamps. In addition, the aerodynamics aspect of this sedan ensures that the performance of this car is efficient and handling is of the highest order. The sporty multi-focus reflector headlamps, aerodynamically sculpted LED side mirror repeaters, chrome door handles and contemporarily styled fog lamps.

If exteriors of Hyundai Elantra are not enough then the interiors are simply scintillating and technologically sophisticated. Interiors of this car are luxuriously designed; front seats are ventilated and comfortable for long drives. Power adjustment is a great benefit and adds to convenience of the driver. Rear AC vents, cooled glove box and rear audio armrest control are the highlights of interiors.

One reason why Hyundai has earned such a reputation in the market is the number of features provided in its cars. Elantra absolutely represents what the company stands for. There is a Dual Zone Fully Automatic Temperature Control (FATC) system, which helps in better discharging of air. Steering mounted audio and Bluetooth control, smart key, button start, electrically heated outside mirror, front armrest, power windows and tilt adjustable steering ensure complete comfort.

Coming to the performance of Hyundai Elantra, it comes in petrol and diesel variants, which are highly efficient and powerful.     The petrol version of Hyundai Elantra runs on 1.8-litre engine that is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. This engine propels the Hyundai Elantra petrol to deliver an output of around 147.5 bhp along with 177 Nm of peak torque. The mileage is pretty decent as the Hyundai petrol is capable of delivering around 16 kmpl. Given the kind of power this car produces, this sort of mileage is quite healthy.

On the other hand, the diesel version of this executive sedan runs on a 1.6-litre CRDi engine, which is also mated to a six-speed gearbox. This engine propels the car to deliver an output of approximately 126 bhp and top torque of 259 Nm. The handling abilities of Hyundai Elantra are efficient and its features help it to stay stable even after it slightly loses control.

Even though this car is supremely feature loaded and extremely stylish, the mileage could have been slightly better. Also, pitting it against competitors, this car could have had a bit more in terms of features. However, irrespective of all this, Hyundai Elantra is a superb vehicle that is full of style, features and power.
